1. Set a good personal
example by following site H&S rules at all times.
2. Implement day to day
H&S procedures.
3. Promote H&S and good
working practices.
4. Report all serious site
accidents or near misses.
5. Record all accidents in
the accident book and investigate fully.
6. Liaise with a member of
senior management on any H&S issues however trivial they
may seem.
7. Provide H&S induction
for operatives.
8. Maintain adequate fire
prevention and emergency procedures.
9. Monitor waste disposal
procedures and ensure environmental procedures are followed.
10. Ensure only properly maintained
vehicle, equipment and plant is used by properly trained
operatives at
all times.

11. Ensure and monitor competence
of equipment user’s continuously.
12. Consult and give advice to
employees on H&S matters.
13. Be aware of the safe systems of
work and risk assessment procedures in all areas of our
operation.
14. Ensure that the correct
personal protective equipment is issued to, and used by all
operatives.
15. Utilise the discipline
procedures if safety is not adhered to.
16. Ensure the workplaces, at home
and away are inspected prior to use and regularly there after.
17. Continually promote H&S and
safe working practices.
